As the founder of Blackstone Kennels, I bring over 20 years of lifelong experience with dogs, driven by a deep passion for their care and well-being. As a dedicated field trialer, I’ve honed my skills in training and working with dogs, particularly my three beloved Labrador Retrievers: Hank, Dolly, and Stetson. This hands-on experience allows me to understand the needs and behaviours of various breeds, ensuring that every pet receives top-notch care.

In addition to my love for dogs, I’m an avid horse enthusiast and actively involved in running our family cattle ranch, where I manage sales and marketing efforts. Balancing my professional commitments, I’m also a proud mom to one daughter, which inspires my dedication to creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for all pets at Blackstone Kennels.

With a blend of personal and professional experience, my mission is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching space for your furry family members while you are away.

At Blackstone Kennels, we pride ourselves on providing a state-of-the-art environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and the well-being of your pets. With only six kennels available, we focus on "quality over quantity", ensuring each dog receives personalized attention and care. We also offer optional Spa services, walks, and one-on-one time in our cozy lounge/office area with their caretaker, complete with a TV or sound machine, and essential oil diffuser; providing a calm and comforting place for relaxation.

- Indoor Comfort: Each Custom kennel is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a cozy and inviting space where pets can feel at home. Each kennel is climate controlled.

- Outdoor Access: Dogs enjoy full day use of dog doors that lead to a secure & covered outdoor run, allowing them freedom and comfort without compromising safety.

- Spacious Play Area: Our large, 6' fenced play area is accessible once daily, providing ample room for your pets to romp and play under supervision. We do not turn dogs out together unless they are from the same household.

- Flexible Meal Times: Meal times can be tailored to your pet’s routine, with 2 to 3 feedings per day, ensuring they feel nourished and cared for.

- 24/7 Surveillance: We offer round-the-clock surveillance, giving you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe and monitored at all times.

- Calming Amenities: Our facility features an aroma diffuser and night light to create a soothing atmosphere for a restful stay.

- Optional spa day package:  To make your pet's stay even more special, we offer a Dog Spa Package that includes pampering services designed to keep your furry friend looking and feeling their best. This package features grooming Services like a wash, blowout, and brushing. Perfect for maintaining your dog's coat and ensuring they leave feeling fresh and clean.
